Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in Southern California, but I definitely travel and love doing so! Eloping in Wisconsin? Having a lavish wedding in Positano? I’m still your girl.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive your fully edited gallery within 6-8 weeks. Sometimes less, but never more, depending on the season! And of course I’ll be sending a couple sneak peeks along the way!
How many pictures will we receive?
Let me start by stating that I will never send an image I don’t like.
And for that reason, the number of images given will be at my discretion. It’s my responsibility as your photographer to eliminate repetition, bad shots, test shots, those awkward half eye blinks, and unflattering photos in general.
Your images are captured in raw color format. After your event, I will handpick the final images from the day and work with each one to bring it to it’s full potential through editing.
((But typically it’s between 400-600 photos depending on the hours of coverage)).
What is your style? How do you photograph?
I’m what the industry calls a “Lifestyle Photographer”
So while yes, I will probably do the typical “everyone look at me and smile!” What I LOVE to capture is the raw, real, and honest emotions that also come through. That tells the story of who you are, and everyone’s own personality. The ugly crying, genuine smiles, big belly laughter, you two getting hyped on the dance floor.
All the hearty in between moments.
I love working with natural light to help create the mood, but will break out the flash during reception.
I’ll give prompts/something to do to help get genuine reactions.
